The theme of this year’s anti-bullying week was to choose respect over bullying. In Year 3J, we discussed the importance of showing that bullying is a behaviour choice, and that children and young people can set a positive example by opting to respect each other at school, in their homes and communities, and online.

British Values Week: Individual Liberty
In Year 3J, we talked about how we are all different, have individual personalities, things that we prefer and that this is important. We discovered that countries including Britain protect our rights to be individuals and that it is also important that we practice supporting each other to be who we are. Everyone had a great time celebrating the uniqueness of each other this week through lots of role-play and discussion.

The Feast of All Saints
We celebrated the Feast of All Saints today. In Father David’s homily, the children were able to reflect on the qualities of a saint. They recognised that saints are holy people that show their love for God by loving others. A big thank you to the parents/carers that shared our mass today.

The whole school gathered together today to thank god for the harvest in a beautiful mass. As Catholics it is important for us to be like Jesus and help those who are less fortunate. It was wonderful to see our school come together as a community and be Good Samaritans by donating food and drink for those in need of our help and support.
